Get Rhythm Pt.1

Rhythm is an often overlooked part of mandolin playing. Of course, melody is where the mandolin really shines but let's face it, the singer get's the melody and most songs have words. In most jam sessions, instrumentals only make up 10-20% of the music being played, and even during instrumentals, we spend most of our time playing rhythm. This group of lessons focuses on the mandolin as a rhythm instrument in a variety of styles. Once you are comfortable playing rhythm with your mandolin you will be able to access a large variety of music in many genres. So let's all Get Rhythm!
